We’ve sifted through piles of extraordinary events and found the top eight events happening in the Northern Virginia area this 2017 Holiday Season. So if you haven’t already added these events to your list, now is the time to get with it! In chronological order, here are the top eight events happening in the area this season.
#1. Festival of Lights Show, South Riding VA
Its new seasonal additions offer a warm, inviting family atmosphere on Thursday, December 14th. The visitors will be able to enjoy S’mores around a bonfire, walk the nighttime adventure and enjoy a hayride. Best of all, all proceeds fund the preservation and development of the Botanic Gardens.
#2. Doughnuts with The Grinch, Manassas VA
The pitch by Krispy Kreme Manassas is what sold us! “Forget about breakfast with Santa this year…Word on the street is that The Grinch will be coming down from Mount Crumpit to make an appearance at Krispy Kreme Manassas!” Santa is great but, if you are looking for something new why not mingle and snap some pictures with The Grinch on Saturday, December 16th.
#3. Putnam Group Holiday Social, Fairfax VA
Jingle Let’s Mingle! I couldn’t leave out our event. Join us for a Holiday Party on Saturday, December 16th. We want to welcome your family and friends to enjoy tasty refreshments, fantastic raffle giveaways, and pictures with Santa Claus. We even had Santa drop us a line. #4. 14th Street All Night Happy Hour, District of Columbia
Do you like to “wine” about a lot of things during the Holidays? According to El Centro D.F., wine and dine all you want at their establishment. It’s hosting an All Night Happy Hour on Monday, December 18 from 3 pm to close.
#5. Nick Cannon Wild ‘N Out Live, Upper Marlboro MD
Everything we’ve read says that the show is fun and energetic. Nick Cannon still knows how to draw a crowd according to the ticket sales and ATL Night Clubz‘ promotion of the event. The show always features a “new” celebrity each week, so who knows who will surprise you on Friday, December 22.
#6. The Weird Winter Onesie Party, Arlington VA
If traveling up to Maryland is out of the question, catch an Uber into Arlington and visit Don Tito’s on Friday, December 22! They expect that everyone goes big and wears a onesie, ugly sweater or full out Santa costume! You know it is sure to be a blast if you have ever been to Tito’s.
#7. Latin Holiday Ball, District of Columbia
Usually, Las Chicas Locas hosts parties on Sundays. However, they decided to “spice-up” the weekend with a Dress-To-Impress Event on Saturday, December 23. Enjoy salsa and bachata all night! They even have a special performance lined up.
#8. Christmas Eve Brunch, Stafford VA
